Prophetic Dream (2-23-98)

I was in a large room with large windows. There was light but it was dark outside. It was surrounded with connecting rooms. Name of room was Cadillac. It was dark inside of the connecting rooms but at times I could get a glimpse of who was there and what was taking place. I was lying on the bed which was very long (maybe 20 feet) enough for three people. The mattress was built with air vents which could be inflated to your comfort zone. The room had invisible speakers all around and you could locate your desired station on the radio for your comfort and listening enjoyment. The volume control was stationed so it appeared just above the cover near the edge of the bed. Faintly, I heard country western music coming over the speakers. I turned the volume up a little and as I did, I noticed that the mattress also inflated for extra comfort and there was more air flowing through the air conditioning vents which were also built into the mattress. When I was younger, country western was my favorite but I never listen to it any more, so I was looking for the control knob to dial another station. I couldn’t find it but figured it must be near the volume control so I pulled back the covers near the volume control and sure enough it was there but it was transparent, and invisible to the naked eye. I began searching for a Christian station. There was only one and it was in a very narrow range and easily passed by. I was determined to fine tune the dial on this station and just leave it there because it takes too much time to locate it once you’ve drifted away. I wasn’t sure of the exact location on the dial but it was near the beginning. I knew the call letters were ACTS. There was only one program aired on this station and it was a continual reading of the book of Acts. Although the location on the dial was uncertain, I found it to be about 2.4. AM. I then realized that there were others in the connecting rooms and when I tuned in to ACTS they would also be listening because it was like a vast intercom for all who wished to listen.

When I got up to write down the dream I discovered that I had this dream at about 2:40 AM on February 23 (2-23).

INTERPRETATION

Large room: Of our lives.

Connecting rooms: Lives of others – family, friends, etc. The windows are dreams, visions, and words of knowledge, words of wisdom, discerning of spirits, etc., which give us a glimpse of what is taking place in the lives of others.

Room titled Cadillac: Elegance, the easy life, and convenience.

Long bed: Sleeping in – spiritual slumber and excess ease in which most of us are comfortable.

Inflatable mattress: You alone determine the degree of commitment to comfort vs commitment to the cross and to Christ.

The speakers: Represent voices, the things we allow ourselves to hear and see.

The volume control: We determine how loud (how much influence) by the volume of time we spend doing things we enjoyed in our life before Christ became our personal Lord.

Dial control: Thoughts that enter the mind. These are undercover, invisible.

The only one Christian station: Is the Holy Spirit who is One with the Father and the Son and through whom Jesus speaks to us. “My sheep hear my voice” it is a narrow range on the dial “straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life.” Once you dial in on something else it takes some time of quietness in his presence to begin listening to the still small voice of the Spirit.

Location on the dial: Is near the beginning (of the day) seeking God first. The children of Israel had to gather the manna early or it would vanish in the sunshine. Jesus the true manna from heaven should be our strength for the entire day.

Call letters ACTS: Is of course the book of Acts. If you desire the power to fulfill the Great Commission: “These signs shall follow them that believe, in My name they shall cast out devils etc.” Then you must keep on being filled with the Holy Spirit. The location on the dial 2.4 is the Acts 2:4 “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

The date: February 23 (2-23). In Acts 2:22 “…Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs…” that was Jesus’ ministry 2:22, ours is next in line 2:23 and as Jesus said “The works that I do shall ye do also, and greater works than these shall ye do.” This can only happen as we stay tuned in to the Holy Spirit.

To find the dial knob: You had to get out of bed and pull back the cover. To stay tuned into the voice of the Holy Spirit you can have nothing covered. All sins must be confessed, forgiven, and repented of. To stay in tune with the Holy Spirit and walk in the demonstration of God’s power and love, we must get out of our comfort zone, forsake the past, and let nothing distract us from God’s call and purpose for our life.

The intercom: We are all connected to the same source and though we may not see it, others will be edified and influenced greatly by our spirit filled lives. Or they will be adversely affected by our failure to walk in the Holy Spirit. You are never alone. “Seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us…” Hebrews 12:1.
