September 1999 Dream

In about the last week of September 1999, the Holy Spirt gave me this dream.

I was flying over the ocean in a large aircraft. I was aware that some of my associates were on ships.

I looked out the window and saw a huge swell, a wave of such magnitude, it is difficult to describe. I was concerned for my friends in their ships.

As we flew a while longer, I looked again and saw a second wave. The white cap on this one was even more furious and I began to wonder if any of the ships could survive.

I awoke and sought the Lord for the interpretation. I fell asleep and had another dream which in reality was a continuation of the previous one.

I was in the aircraft, the ships were on the ocean. I looked out and saw another wave (the third one). This one was even greater than the previous two and I not only realized that no ship could survive but the thought also entered my mind that possibly we should fly higher because the white cap of this wave was getting close even to the plane.

Interpretation

The giant waves represent the coming judgements on the earth. There are three major areas or things God will use. 1) The natural disorders such as earthquakes, floods, droughts, and famines. 2) The economy 3) The social unrest, wars, riots, massacres, gangs, civil disorder.

Those in the airplane flying are those who are spiritually set free from the world. These wait upon the Lord, hear His voice, and obey His commands. Isaiah 40:31 “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles…”
