Gimme Lamb

Some say it's ok
Eatin' anything is fine
Including the crabs, the rats and the swine
Well, well, do tell
If I drink a little wine
Those folks may gossip for quite a spell.

Jesus turned some water to wine
But never wore pigtails down his spine.
So where do we finally draw the line?

Wine is made for us to be taken
For human consumption in moderation
But unclean animals are plain abomination.
So what about preachers long dissertation
And what does God think of their fancy oration
That takes all limits off the pig
The vultures, the kites and the big mulliwig.

Well, you can eat swine
All you want
The tail, the squeal and even the grunt
But if you don't mind
I'll be quite blunt
I've found something better in my hunt
Just gimme the Lamb.
