Separation

1-12-2002

I, God am doing a separation work.

I am looking for those that have been vigilant, who have kept alert.  They have not grown weary, bitter, disillusioned or lost faith in me.  They have been faithful to forgive, to love one another, to walk in peace and joy and not walk in hurt and bitterness nor jealousy or hate, nor anger nor resentment.  They have been faithful and true.  They kept their lamp full of oil and stand ready at all times to hear me, and obey me, and keep themselves separated unto me.  They don’t question my ways nor argue their wishes over my ways, but trust in me.  The others use my name, play the game, but trust me not, because they know me not.  They pretend to know me, they talk sweetly to others of me, while they themselves resent me inwardly.

Gideon’s 10,000 men came to the water to drink, but I took only 300 into battle.  Why? Because they were ready, alert, prepared, although weary, hungry and thirst, unlike the other 9,700 soldiers who fell face down in the water.  They were unprepared, they had given up, although mighty soldiers at one time.  Now they lost the will, the faith, the commitment needed to follow through and finish the battle.  They would have sold their birthright for a sip of water and a little rest, just as Esau sold his birthright for bread and stew.

My son set the example when hungry and weary from 40 days of fasting and the testing battles with Satan.  Satan then offered him bread, but he chose the Bread of Life.  He chose the commitment of heavenly and godly things.  He chose wisely not to sell out his birthright and remained faithful and true.

A separation work has always been going on.  In every generation humans have had to decide who they would serve.  Would they serve themselves, their worldly ambition, their greed and lust for things.  They are pressing to always get their own way, to find fault with others, to find fault with me (God), for the way that their life has gone.  Do you mumble and complain? Do you lash out a t me with your tongue, and a hateful, spiteful heart?

There is a separation work now going on amongst you.  Those who know me spend time with me.  They love me and trust me even when they do not understand my ways.  Where do you stand, my son, my daughter? On what side of the line drawn in the sand of eternity do you stand?  Make no mistake about this.  I sent my son to save the whole world.  However, he did die in vain for many who will never accept him.  He also died in vain for many who say that they know him but do not.  Examine yourself now, before you come to me.  Chose this day who you will serve. Will you continue to serve self?  Or will you lay aside your pride, hate, ambitions and follow my ways?

Let it not said to you when you come before me and say,  Lord, Lord, we served you.  We did all these wonderful things for you.  We did, we did, we did.  Then I would have to say to you, “Excuse me, who are you?  I’m afraid I don’t know you.  In fact, why have you sought to put on this garment of righteousness?”  I will then call my servants to have you removed from my supper.

I sent out the invitations.  Will you RSVP yes or no?

You yourself will decide your own fate, not I.  You chose this day who you will serve.  This is your invitation to the heavenly supper.

My Response:

With great joy I received your invitation to the heavenly supper.  The value I place upon it is greater than all earth’s riches.  I understand its nature to be not for just an evening or a week vacation or for a year or so, but rather for eternity without end.

The words of the message are not from any frail human, a magistrate, ruler, president or king, but from my majestic heavenly Father.

It is with great pleasure I accept your invitation.  By your grace I make the commitment to follow through and finish the battle, to serve with gratefulness and a thankful heart.  I wish to separate myself from the world unto you in holiness.  I made my choice many years ago and I have never been sorry.  I chose this day and every day to serve you, my wonderful heavenly Father.
