The Power Struggle

Chug a lug, chug alug.
Who pulled the plug?
Some put the blame on Governor Thug.
The year you know,
When the lights went low,
The bills went high,
As high as the sky,
Cause I hampered the flow
To your big hydro.

Your feet got cold,
And many got bold.
The big power houses to scorn and to scold.
Graft and greed they did discover.
Corporate heads were walkin in clover.
"Eatin high on the hog", as you say,
But you reap what you sow,
So there is a pay day.

Now the juice is back and flowin,
And much more confidence again you're showin.
And so, this winter we're gonna have heat.
I've warned before and now I repeat,
The struggle for power is not yet beat.
So light your candles,
And let them shine.
All power in heaven and earth is Mine.
I am the source of all energy.
All power and authority comes from Me.
When the lights go out, you will see.
